So Happy to See You!

The first time I met Ivan, we made eye-contact and he immediately began crying! That was 4 months ago and what a change has taken place. Ivan’s young mother is experiencing for the first time all the developmental changes children go through naturally. She is enjoying our visits as she learns what to expect Ivan to do at each stage and age and how to be a better observer and teacher of her child. We discussed social-emotional milestones from the very first visit and how Ivan’s behavior with strangers was a normal part of development. Now when the front door opens and Ivan sees me, he smiles and squeals with excitement as if to say, "I'm so happy to see you!" MJ
