Shake That Tambourine
As an incentive for parents, we use a point system to reward social and home visit attendance. When a certain number of points have been earned, parents choose their reward from a list of options. Mia's mom chose 'musical melodies' as her reward and received a tambourine-like instrument and a CD of children's songs. At the end of our visits we usually sing a few songs the child has learned and today when we mentioned 'music', Mia ran to get her "tambourine". She was so cute "shakin' that tambourine" as we all sang the familiar songs. MJ
