I Want to Play!

One child I have been seeing since before he could talk much. In fact, one of his mom's goals was for him to talk more. Well, of course I have been noticing the child's progress over many, many months. However, at a recent home visit it really hit me how much improvement this child has made with his communication skills. When I arrived and walked in his house he was jumping up and down saying, "I want to play teacher, I want to play!" I was overwhelmed by his ability to tell me exactly what he wanted. I commented to his mom how proud I am of him and she agreed! CS
