This happened on one of my home visits to Lupe's house recently.
Lupe was waiting (like she always does), to have her lesson with Mom. After we completed our lesson, Mom said "Miss Eva please wait, Lupe has something to show you".
Lupe went to her bedroom and came back with a story book, sat down beside me and started "reading" the book.....of course it was a made up story. After she finished, she asked me, "am I ready for school now?"
This story is a wonderful example of how useful the EHS Home-Base program is for children and their parents to help prepare for Pre-School.
