The process of creativity and art is emphasized on the home visits and at the socials. Children have fun with a variety of developmentally appropriate activities such as filling water bottles with tissue paper, making contact paper collages and experimenting with different materials including markers, crayons, chalk, and paint. One of the handouts on reinforcing self esteem talks about letting children enjoy the process of creating and then displaying their projects in the home. It is fun to go on visits and have children and their parents proudly point out the art projects that were made at the socials or on previous visits that are now decorating their windows, walls, and refrigerators.
