In January D's Grandparent's came for a visit and stayed at D's house for 3 weeks. During January's home visits D's Grandma participated with D and Mom and enjoyed the home visit as much as Mom always does. In each home visit D's Grandma asked me for a copy of the handouts for her own use. Grandma told me how surprised she was with how much D had learned and how mature she is for her age. She was so interested in the Home-Based program that during our last home visit together she asked for a complete set of handouts, so that even in another country she can keep up with D's progress and be able to discuss issues with Mom. I always enjoy meeting student's Grandparents, I think they play a very important role in children's lives.
