From birth, babies begin exploring the wonders in the world with their eyes. Even before they learn to reach and grab with their hands or crawl and sit-up, their eyes are providing information and stimulation important for their development. While visiting 5 month old J, Mom and I discussed, that he had reached an important developmental milestone in visual. J now had good color vision and could see farther away. J also could see in three dimensions. As Mom was taking in all of this information, she looked at J and said, " So, little man you are seeing a whole new world."
