First Visit

This is my first home visit with little J. Little J was all dressed up and ready when I arrived. As I sat down and welcomed the family into the program, Mom expressed how very excited she was to have the home visits and for little J to learn and grow. Mom also expressed her desire to learn English. Meanwhile, little J was very curious to see what was in the activity bag. Little J took the textured squares out of the bag and was so happy to see his reflection on the shiny square. Mom and little J explored every textured square and named all the colors. To see the interaction between Mom and child, and little J learning while capturing each learning moment is one of those little rewards from being a Parent Educator. Hopefully, I will be able to write and post a little something from each stage in little J's growth and development.
