Way to go Alexander!

We've been talking & encouraging Maribel to potty train Alexander. Each week we've asked "How was the potty training this week? Mom would reply, "We are not there yet!" So, after a few visits and handouts, Maribel told us today that Alexander wasn't wearing his diaper. We noticed that he was drinking juice! After a few minutes into the visit, we asked Alexander if he was ready to use the potty, he shook his head, no, and he continued to play with his puzzle. A few minutes later, we asked again, "Do you need to use the potty Alexander?" He nodded his head no again, so, we stopped what we were doing and Deanne, Maribel, Alexander and I went to the bathroom door. Mom went into the bathroom with Alexander. Deanne and I could hear from standing outside the door that our trip to the bathroom was successful! Whenever he came out we all celebrated with him and praised him for his accomplishment. He loved it! Mom loved it even more. It was so exciting to see mom's hard work paying off and to see Alexander becoming more independent.
