Hablo Ingles

One of my families primary language is Spanish, but the mother speaks enough English to visit with me without a translator. She has asked for my help with English words when she is trying to find just the right one. She works very hard at listening and speaking carefully, and was recently given the opportunity to attend a weekly English as a second language class. Mom was worried to tell me about the meetings, as they were during our regulary scheduled Monday evening time slot, but we arranged for the visits to occur on a different evening so she could do both. Mom is doing a fantastic job with learning English, and appears so prideful of her new abilities. - Jamie
