Rock-a-bye baby...

Scientific based research from the Born to Learn Curriculum states that one way to help with transitions is to establish rountines and remain consistent with these routines. We all know how difficult this can be, especially when the transition we are trying to make it transitioning to an earlier bedtime! One of my families recently made the decision to change their 33 month old little girl's bedtime to 7:30pm due to her unruly behavior in the mornings. For the past two months mom and dad have placed their daughter in bed each night by 7:30 pm...no matter what! She is now waking up bright, cheery, and ready to start her day. Mom and dad said it has been difficult remaining consistent, but their reward of peaceful mornings with their daughter far outweighs the hardships of being consistent. It is so great to see how our curriculum truly helps families!
