Feeling Welcome

I so enjoy visiting with the L. family, as they are so welcoming and enthusiastic. When Daniabelle and I arrive, the children are looking out the window of the second floor watching for us to drive up. Y. and her 5 year old brother O. always have something special that they want to share with us. Recently they have learned the sound "ta-da" and when we enter they have something covered in a blanket, then O. pulls it off dramatically and they say "ta-da". When it comes time for us to leave they help us to the door, and for the entire, long, walk back to the car they repeatedly call out "adios" until we are inside of our cars. It is so wonderful that they are so excited about "school" and it feels special to be so appreciated.
