I'm a big girl now!

The socializations for our program are intended to encourage experiences for families. One mom noted at our last social, which was held at the local library, that her 23 month old daughter carried around a paper sack throughout the library. While walking through the children's picture book section, mom noted her daughter would remove a book from the shelf, browse through it and either place it back on the shelf or in her 'bag.' The little girl ended up with three very heavy books! The next day, while at home, the little girl carried her 'bag' throughout the house with books in tow. She would then sit down, take out a book, and 'read' the book aloud. Mom was surprised and excited that her daughter is becoming so independent.
