Big Hug!

On a recent home visit I got a wonderful surprise! As the child, mom and I were ending the visit we were waving and saying good-bye. I was telling the family to have a great week, call if they need anything, and that I'd see them soon. Then, to my amazement, the toddler came up to me and gave me a great big hug! The hug was totally unprompted by anyone. This was a huge social-emotional milestone! I was honored to be a part of this moment.
