Picnic time!

As one way to promote language development, Chloe, mom, and myself had a pretend picnic together. We each had our placemat and utensils and Chloe was the waitress that served our meal. During the picnic, mom labeled the pretend food, asked Chole to pass her certain food items to help her learn to identify them, and used parallell talk and self talk to promote those language skills. And we always had enough tea in our little cups because Chloe kept preparing more tea each time we ran out of it! How fun! DH
