Because every moment counts

Many times when we go into a home, the child we serve is not the only one there. I have been pleasantly surprised to find as many as five children at my one child visit. Of course, as parents educators we are always prepared for this. Although the lesson is for the one child, we understand that every time we meet a new child we are providing for them a positive early education experience and hopefully one that will make them want to go to school and have a successful academic future. I enjoy serving with people who know that every connection, and every moment we spend with these parents and these children count. And even though they may not remember us when they are 20 years old, their success is still our success. DH
