One of the joys of our job is getting to see how the children change and grow each week as they are constantly learning and developing. I especially enjoy watching their language skills grow. On a recent visit with a 12 month old little girl, mom and I were clapping for her and telling her "bravo" each time she did an activity. Soon the little girl herself began saying "bravo" each time she did the activity, with the word becoming clearer and clearer with each repetition. I don't know who was more proud - the little girl or her mother.
