Hm....So that's what it's called!

Hilda is a mom of 4 children and she's a roll model. Always keeps her visits, goes to socials, does the follow-up activities and is eager to learn new things. Last week at our visit we were talking about how Mia's speech is so great. I was praising Hilda for her hard work. I told her that all of the parallel and stretch talk that she has done with Mia has paid off. Every week she's talking more and more. Hilda looked at me and smiled, then she said, "It's funny that after 4 kids I can put a name to what I have done by instinct all these years. It feels good to know that I have been doing the right thing. I was remembering the first time you said parallel talk and I thought hm....so that's what it's called."
