Today when we had the social at the pumpkin patch we had inside activities playing and raking leaves, sorting apples and pumpkins and painting faces. It was a great opportunity for parents to talk about fall changes. When story time came, we read "Perky the round fat Pumpkin." The kids were moving around but Andres was listening very carefully. He came and sat on my lap. When it was time to go outside for Andres to get his pumpkin, he was so excited, he held my hand and said "look pumpkin". He got a round, fat and orange pumpkin just like Perky! The weather was beautiful and all the kids had fun and brought home a pumpkin. What a great social!
