Sit Down Teacher

The children we visit, are very excited to see, what is inside the "Big Blue Bag" we bring to the home. I had previously told the family, that the next visit would involve shaving cream. The rationale for this acitvity involves sensory, fine motor skills and part -whole relationships. I entered the home and mom stated that Brittney had been talking about shaving cream the entire morning. Brittney quickly took my hand and bag, pointed to the floor and said, "Sit down teacher, let's play". We had a great time with the shaving cream.
