Getting Involved

It is so fantastic when the whole family gets involved with the various components of our program. We often have the entire family come to our socials to support their child or sibling. Recently I have also experienced lots of Dads becoming more involved in the weekly home visits. They are joining us on the magic carpet to learn the developmental milestones that they can be expecting their child to experience soon, reading to and playing with their children, and asking lots of questions. There have also been many times that during the ASQ the Dad has been the one to say, " Yes, he is talking about himself using the word me instead of his name.", or to answer or ask other questions. These visits are especially fun for me because I can see how excited mom and baby are to have Dad join in on the fun. Jamie
