He's a he!

It never ceases to amaze me how on target our curriculum is. This month, with B's mom we were talking about body awareness and recognizing the differences between being a boy and girl. As I discussed the handout with mom, she reported that all last week B was referring to everyone as he or she. A few minutes later while in the middle of our activity someone knocked on the door. It was the little boy from across the street. B stood up grabbed her friend by the hand and said to me... "He's a he" and then she smiled. Mom and I looked at each other and said, "I believe we can check this milestone."
