It is so great to see how recently the parents that I visit have been giving information and resources that they want me to share with the other families in the program. One mother had taken it upon herself to do some research about fun things that she could do with her children this summer including programs at local museums, discounted children's movies, and free bowling programs. After she found all of this information she typed it all up and gave it to me to share with others. As I was sharing these great resources with other families many were adding that they knew of something else that would be helpful or informative. This kind of collaboration has been so amazing, and it makes the families feel so good that they are helping others and being involved.
