Even thou it’s hard to see our students go it’s sure rewarding to see how much our kids have grown and developed. This month Alan aged out and went from weekly home visits to daily school in our wonderful ECEC at Rosa Parks. As I glanced through the window, I saw that Alan happily interacted with his new friends and teachers. Wow! I couldn’t help to think that our Home Based program had a big part in it. All the school readiness activities and interaction at the socials had made a difference in Alan’s first day of school. I’m so glad that working together as a team, we make sure that all of our kids can make a smooth transition.
