Today in our lesson, Maria and I were discussing the importance of sharing and cooperative play; pretend play. I was explaining to Mom how pretend play will help Biancy to develop her language, socio-emotional and motor skills. It was great to watch how Mom and daughter role played with each pretend outfit. We went from being a chef and eating Biancy’s food, to going to the Doctor’s office to see the nurse because we ate too much and had a fever! What a great lesson, from dressing up to learning new words like thermometer. Biancy asked Maria and me to open our mouths wide and say aaaaaa!!! It was a fun visit!!!
