Recently, we began taking parents developmental calendars to help them keep track of all of their visits as well as group meeting dates. During a visit with Alex this week, mom asked Alex to go and get Mrs. Tara's Calendar. Alex brought back the calendar and I notice several boxes were full of writing. Mom told me that she used this as her regular daily calendar so that she could look at it each day to remind herself of when our visits and group meetings are. Mom wanted to make sure she did not schedule any doctor appoinments or other activities during her Early Head Start time. What a wonderful tool to help mom remember visits! Just a note, mom has made all group meetings and home visits since she received the calendar!
