Happy Tears

As an educator making home visits, I have the privilege of being an invited guest in the homes of our families. Each family has their own struggles and issues that life brings but even so are gracious to me, allowing me to share in observing their child as he goes through stages of development. This week a mother and I shared "happy tears" as we reminisced over the past year since her child started the program. When I first met Dago he wasn't even crawling. Now he not only walks but runs for hugs each week as he begins to talk about what might be in the "toy bag" today. MJ
