Sisters Play Teacher

You don't always know what kind of impact you have on a family but sometimes you are fortunate enough to see the results of your efforts. Occasionally, there are even byproducts you never expected. One of my families has 3 children. Juan, a 24 month old, is my student. His 2 sisters, a 4 and 5 year old, are also involved in our visits. Last week, mom told me that the 2 sisters have had a favorite game for some time now. They have a play "visit bag" filled with toys and one sister pretends to be "Mary Jane (teacher)"and the other sister pretends to be "Juan (student)". Then they act out a lesson or activity with the toys. Mom shared how much she enjoys watching the girls play. MJ
