Benny, a bright and colorful young man I visit, speaks Spanish, while I do not. He tells me all kinds of interesting thoughts and ideas, and occasionally I do not understand him. When I ask him "Que?" he furrows his brow, turns to his mother and asks her, (in Spanish), "Could you tell her what I said please?". His mother and I get a big kick out of his need for a translator.
