Playing music and singing together are great gifts that parents can give their children. This month during my visits I have observed the great joy that children have in singing and doing finger plays with their parents. It is fun to watch the development from listening, to beginning to imitate, to singing the words. Parents enjoy the songs we bring in as part of our curriculum as they are reminded of old familiar songs and exposed to new songs.
