The last two weeks have been some of the hardest that anyone would have to go through. I lost my father to terminal cancer, therefore I was unable to visit my families like normal. However, through these hard times I had all 12 of my families call me and 7 came to visit me at the funeral home. Not only did the parents come but they also brought their children to see and visit with me. It was really touching to see the impact that we have as a program on these families that they would take the time to be comforting in times of grief such as these. To see the kids smiles it made me forget for a little bit where I really was. To see the support that all my co-workers showed meant so much to me. I want to thank everyone for their kindness and to let you know the feeling is mutual!
