I enjoy visiting with J's family, as they are so welcoming! At a home visit this month, Mom had some exciting news to share with me, as she had called me many times to confirm the day and hour for our home visit. The day finally came, and the good news was that little J. is finally potty trained! This was such a big moment for Mom to share with me.
The potty training was so important for this Mom, as she wants J. to start going to a child care center in a few months. Mom and I were working with potty training as a goal for J's transition plan, and with good advice from our curriculum and on-going conversations we have been having J. finally accomplished his Big Goal! Mom and I shared in his exciting acheivement.
