Exception To The Rule

Traditionally, the mother has been the one to take on the responsibility of being a "stay at home Mom" and caring for the children. J is an active 27 month old boy, and his home is an exception to this rule. Mom now works full-time, while Dad has assumed the role of a "stay at home Dad". Dad stated that this experience has been most rewarding. Dad is currently involved in the toilet learning process with J, and establishing a bedtime routine. J has also been weaned from the bottle, and is drinking from a cup. This experience has promoted a happy, healthy and well balanced lifestyle, for the family. Dad now realizes that he is filling a unique and important role in J's life. He is helping to shape J's future.
