As Parent Educators we get to share age appropriate developmental information with our parents on a weekly basis. Parents work so hard to make sure their kids are right on target by completing their follow-up activities. But nothing compares to being able to experience success together when their hard work pays off. I have been visiting K. since she was a few weeks old. Right before her first birthday while discussing the lesson handouts, K. gave her first two steps from Dad’s lap to the swing. We were so excited and celebrated her accomplishment. These are the little moments that we share with our families that make our job so rewarding.
