Moving On!

Home is still the primary place for a preschool child to learn, and parents are a child's most important teacher. In some situations however, the home environment is not conducive to constructive learning. RR is a bright and energetic 22 month old girl. Mom was experiencing high stress levels and was also seeking employment. As the designer of RR's environment, Mom was aware that RR needed a richer and more exciting learning environment for her child. Through collaboration with Family Support, Mom and Early Head Start Home Base, RR was recently placed at an Early Childhood Education Center. RR is now learning and interacting with other children, under the guidance of skilled adults. Mom stated that she would never forget the support, that Early Head Start Home Base provided to her family.
