This summer I have observed how families like home-made, inexpensive activities that will keep their children busy playing and learning at the same time. This month families commented about the shaving cream activity. Many of our Home-Based families have started using shaving cream for a daily activity for their children. Parents were happy to know that playing with shaving cream stimulates their children's sense of touch and smell and also encourages the child to use their hands and develop fine motor skills.
